During a visit to the UK, a delegation of the Ministry of Defence led by Deputy Minister for Defence Miroslav Jovanovic visited the Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS).

In the talks, the participants evaluated the current activities in the field of military education and proposed new forms of collaboration between the Royal College and the Advanced Security and Defence Studies of our country.

Chief of Defence Technologies Department, Brigadier General Bojan Zrnic had a meeting with representatives of government agency for trade and investments in the field of military equipment (UK Trade & Investment). On that occasion they discussed opportunities for cooperation between companies of the defence industries of the two countries for joint appearance on third markets.

The delegation of MoD also visited the UK Permanent Joint Headquarters in Northwood. The members of the delegation were informed of the structure, mission and tasks of this HQ.

During the visit to the Northwood base, the delegation visited the Headquarters of the ATALANTA Mission in which the members of the Serbian Armed Forces have been currently engaged. During the talks the representatives of the HQ highlighted the professionalism of our members and expressed gratitude for the participation so far. The Assistant Minister stressed our determination that our participation in the mission be extended through the engagement of the Autonomous Vessel Protection Detachment from the World Food Programme for Somalia.
