The Association of Serb Writers and Artists Abroad – ASWA presented a book by Dusan Puvacic “Balkan Themes – Tradition and Change in Serbian and Croatian Literature” in the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in London on 26 November 2013. Ambassador Ognjen Pribicevic greeted the guests. The book and its author were then introduced by Sonja Besford, President of ASWA, Celia Hawkesworth, a retired professor at UCL Department for Slavic Languages and Studies, David Norris, Director of the Department for Russian and Slavic Studies at the Nottingham University, Rasko Miscevic, publisher, Alison Closs, honorary secretary of the Scottish branch of the British-Yugoslav Society as well as former students Nevenka Martin and Sanja Spuzic.

More than hundred guests attended this event devoted to the book which contains a series of essays and commentaries.
