The head of the team of the Republic of Serbia on EU accession Professor Tanja Miščević, visited London on 12 May 2014 and had talks with the representatives of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom – Europe Director Vijay Rangarajan and Mr. Owen Jenkins, Director of the Western Balkans and Enlargement Directorate. She also met with Mr. Angus Lapsley, Director of the European and Global Issues Secretariat at the UK’s Cabinet Office, and representatives of non-Governmental sector, Mr. Mats Person, Director of “Open Europe” think tank and President of the European Movement in the UK, Mr. Petros Fassoulas. In addition to these, she had meetings in the Ministry of Justice, with Mr. Scott McPherson, Director of International Division and in the Home Office, with Ms Emma Gibbons, Deputy Director of the International Directorate. Professor Miščević delivered a lecture at the London School of Economics in connection with Serbia’s accession to EU.
