The delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, headed by its President Mrs. Maja Gojkovic visited the United Kingdom from 10 to 14 November 2014. As part of the visit, President of the National Assembly Maja Gojkovic met with the Lord Speaker Baroness Frances D’Souza and Minister for Europe at the Foreign Office David Lidington. The delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia which also included Vice-Presidents of the Assembly Veroljub Arsic and Vladimir Marinkovic, General Secretary Jana Ljubicic, Chief of Cabinet Dragan Blesic, Foreign Policy Adviser to the President Uros Balov also met with the representatives of the National Audit Office and several members of the UK Parliament. After London, the delegation proceeded to Edinburgh to pay a visit to the Parliament of Scotland. This visit has been realized within the project of promoting the role of parliaments in the Western Balkans under the auspices of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy.
