On 6 September 2018, the "Theological Refugees in Oxford" Conference was held in Pusey House Chapel in Oxford, dedicated to the unforgettable generation of dignitaries, professors and theologians from the Church of England and the Serbian Orthodox Church, who during the First World War familiarised with a far-reaching positive legacy: church, socio-political and cultural one.

This International Conference was held with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia and His Grace Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury. The Conference was jointly organized by the Theological Faculty in Oxford (Pusey House Chapel in Oxford, Theological College Ripon Cuddesdon, St. John’s College of Theology) and Faculty of Orthodox Theology of the University of Belgrade. The talks were held by: Prof. Mark Chapman, Prof. Dr Srboljub Ubiparipović, The Revd Antony Dutton, Prof. Dr Angela Berlis, Prof. Dr Aleksandar Đakovac, Prof. Dr Bogdan Lubardić, Prof. Dr Andrej Jeftić, Prof. Dr Vladan Tatalović, Prof. Andrew Chandler and Bishop Isihije Rogić. Chargé d'Affaires Nataša Marić addressed the gathering on behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in London.

The Conference was attended by dignitaries of both churches, including Bishop Dositej of Great Britain and Scandinavia, prominent scholars and intellectuals and students from England.
