At the expressed interest of students of Slavonic and SEE studies at the University College London (UCL), the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in London organized a lecture held by Ambassador Aleksandra Joksimović on the topic of foreign policy priorities of the Republic of Serbia and the European Integration Process. With an appropriate historical review and presented basic political and economic indicators about our country, Ambassador Joksimović introduced the students to the most important issues, such as the European perspective of Serbia and the Western Balkans, regional cooperation, the "Open Balkans" initiative, Belgrade - Pristina dialogue and others.
The presentation of Ambassador Joksimović was followed by a conversation with students of undergraduate and postgraduate studies at UCL, who were interested in the role of women in diplomacy, bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the United Kingdom, as well as other topics related to the Republic of Serbia and the region.
