The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Ireland on a non-residential basis, H.E. Aleksandra Joksimović, attended the meeting of the Irish-Serbian Chamber of Commerce held in Dublin.

In her opening address, the Ambassador underlined Serbia’s economic results, pointed out that Serbia’s strategic commitment was the process of integration into the European Union and emphasized that, despite the global crisis, Serbia still represented an attractive and stable market for foreign investments.

At the same time, Ambassador Joksimović mentioned that the positive experiences and stable growth of Ireland could be an example and a source of exchange of experiences in the field of economic development, as well as that the good bilateral relations of the two countries represented fertile ground for further improvement of economic cooperation.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Executive Board of the Chamber, the Department  of Foreign Affairs of Ireland, Honorary Consul of Serbia in Ireland Mr. Živko Jakšić, as well as numerous interested businessmen.
