Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nikola Selaković congratulated James Cleverley on his appointment as Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

“I sincerely believe that the overall relations between the Republic of Serbia and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will continue to develop in the mutual interest of our peoples, to which I am ready to provide my personal contribution,” said Foreign Minister Selaković.

Serbian Foreign Minister expressed his belief that our two countries, in the spirit of mutual respect and understanding, will continue to strengthen and deepen constructive dialogue in areas of importance for both countries.

“With the hope that we will soon have the opportunity to exchange opinions on all matters of mutual interest, please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration,” said Foreign Minister Selaković in his congratulatory message.
